Art Exhibition Fundrasier
Jimi Handz transforms wood into striking works of art, blending craftsmanship with creativity. Each piece he carves tells a story, reflecting the natural beauty of Black culture. On September 14th he will become one of many artists to be a featured vendor at the Black Boy Art Show in Los Angeles California. All donations and proceeds will help showcase his art on a national stage.

Jacob Brass Trio
Jacob Bross is a distinguished drummer and educator with a deep passion for jazz. An undergraduate student in Memphis, Tennessee, Jacob has since relocated to Kansas City, where he has made a significant impact on the local jazz scene. His dynamic performances have seen him collaborate with esteemed musicians such as Marcus Lewis, Matt Villinger, and Emily Dix, showcasing his versatile skill set and deep understanding of the genre. Through both his playing and teaching, Jacob continues to contribute to the vibrancy of jazz music today.
The TRIBE

Kansas City’s vibrant jazz scene features 21-year-old saxophonist Henry Scamurra from St. Joseph, MO. A 2024 UMKC Conservatory graduate, he studied under Carl Allen, Adam Larson, and Stephen Martin. Henry blends tradition and innovation, emerging as a captivating, sophisticated voice in modern jazz.

Mikole Kaar & Trio
Born in New York City, Mikole began studying clarinet at the age of nine. He was mentored by the great Clifford Scott, whom he knew growing up simply as "Scotty."
